Hi, my name is Carsten. For the past 10 years I have been managing director of Vikan Group. I have had the privilege of being part of a team who have been passionate about helping food and beverage environments and other hygiene sensitive areas become cleaner and safer.

I live an hour south of our HQ in Skive, Denmark together with my 2 teenage kids. We enjoy traveling and relaxing at home. In an attempt to stay fit and to allow myself to indulge great food I like to get out on my road bike.

Originally, I have an academic background in finance. I rather quickly moved into a broader role of business management working in industries within food and building materials. I enjoy working within a multicultural environment where we succeed through teamwork and collaboration.

With my blog and the other blogs from Vikan we would like to share knowledge, experience and other topics of interest. This is a new way of communication for me and I am open for feedback and questions.
