Hygienic Tools, Safer Food: Best Practices for Compliance

Time:
February 19th 2025 at 9 AM EST (3 PM CET)

Effective cleaning tools are essential for maintaining a hygienic and compliant food production environment. However, their improper selection, use, and/or maintenance can pose risks to food safety and product quality.

By developing and implementing a robust cleaning tool management program, food manufacturers can minimise these risks, improve operational efficiency, and meet standard and regulatory requirements.

In this webinar, you’ll learn what it takes to create an effective cleaning tool management program that supports your broader sanitation and food safety goals.

Topics include:

  • Understanding the role of cleaning tools: Learn why proper tool management is critical to prevent contamination
  • Key elements of tool management: Selection criteria, proper usage practices, and effective maintenance programs
  • Choosing the right tools: Material compatibility, zone-specific requirements, and colour-coding for allergen and contamination control
  • Best practices for maintenance: Tool sanitation and condition monitoring to ensure continued efficacy and compliance
  • Integration into sanitation programs: Strategies for storage systems, separation protocols, documentation, auditing, staff training, and fostering a food safety culture

Gain practical insights and actionable strategies to optimise cleaning tool management, enhance your sanitation program, and achieve your food safety goals. Don't miss this opportunity to elevate your facility's hygiene practices.
