Employee stories

Andy Freer

Andy Freer began his career at Vikan as an area sales manager 18 years ago. Almost 4 years later, he was given responsibility for the larger national UK distributors, and 2 years after that, he was promoted to UK Sales Manager. For the last few years he has also been responsible for leading the International Food Group team.

Ally Scott

Ally started working at Vikan back in 2015 as an area sales manager and was responsible for Scotland, Ireland, and Northern England. This is a large geographic area and gave him plenty of opportunities to work with a variety of customers and provide quality cleaning solutions.

Mihkel Lossmann

Mihkel started his journey at Vikan on the 7th of August 2023 as Microfiber Product Manager, where he looks after all products from the microfiber range, maintaining market overview, and driving product development, testing and commercial focus. Mihkel is located at the Vikan facilities in Estonia.

Daniel Ibrahim

Daniel works at Vikan North America (previously Remco) as a Warehouse Associate and has been with the company since 2008. Remco became a Vikan company in 2018 after the two companies had been partners for 35 years. 

Mona Lauritsen

Mona started at Vikan in 1979 and will this year retire after 44 years of service. Mona started at Vikan as an “all-around office trainee”. At that time, part of the training was to try out different departments and tasks.

Børge Rasmussen

Børge Rasmussen started at Vikan back in 1971 as a machine fitter and through the over 40 years he was an employee at Vikan, he held many titles and responsibilities. Among others, he was Chairman of the Personnel Association, union representative, foreman, and board member.
