Mondelez Sweden boosts cleaning efficiency with HyGo

At Mondelez’s production facility in Upplands Väsby, Sweden, HyGo helps keep sanitation efforts fast and organized. Willi works in the department that produces the popular Marabou Milk Chocolate Cake, where his job includes keeping the factory environment clean and the food safe. He has found HyGo cleaning trolleys to be a welcome addition to traditional tool stations.

Having the tools close at hand when I clean machines and equipment makes cleaning tasks easier. HyGo rolls easily and I can bring the tools I need,’ says Willi. Previously, he had to pick up the respective tools at fixed stations, which took more time.

Today we have several HyGos,’ says Elin Öhgren, Sanitation Specialist at the Swedish Mondelez production facility. ‘We have a dedicated HyGo for each cleaning area.’

She goes on to say that they are currently testing this system to see how best to use it in this department. ‘We may rethink and instead ensure that an even wider arsenal of tools is available on the trolley so that the tool mix fits even more areas within the same hygiene zone—we are still testing.’

Clearly, HyGo is here to stay,’ says Elin. ‘We definitely see that it will make cleaning easier and faster for our business. A big plus is that the trolley is hygienically designed so that it can be kept clean and safe. We currently have around 25 HyGo trolleys running in our production.’
