Grout Brush w/Scraping Edge

225 mm, Very hard, Red

The Vikan Grout Brush with Scraping Edge is a hygienic cleaning brush purpose-built for food manufacturing, food retail, restaurants and food service, where hygiene and food safety are critical. Its angled head is shaped to work grout lines between tiles as well as corners, edges and hard-to-reach equipment surfaces - the areas where soil collects but a standard floor or hand brush can't get clean, consistent contact.

An exposed scraping edge sits ahead of the bristles and loosens baked-on debris before scrubbing begins, so operators aren't working through stuck-on soil from the first pass. Hard, durable bristles then cut through what's left - baked-on dough, heat-denatured proteins, mineral scale and biofilms - while a long handle keeps the working hand well clear of wet or soiled surfaces during repeated scrubbing.

Built with a long polypropylene handle, polyester bristles and stainless steel staples, and made in Denmark, the brush is produced from EU, UK and FDA compliant raw materials. Between uses, the drop-shaped hanging hole is designed to prevent pooling liquid, so the brush dries cleanly and stays visible on a hook or shadow board, and colour-coded variants support hygienic zoning plans and 5S programmes.

With an 18 mm head, the Grout Brush with Scraping Edge has the widest head of the three products in this detail brush series - wider than the Detail Brush with Narrow Head and the 11.2 mm Detail Brush with Small Narrow Head. That extra width suits broader surfaces like grout lines and equipment corners, while the other two in the series are built for tighter gaskets, seals and machine joints instead.
