Vikan A/S is a 100% Danish owned company

The ownership structure, which is shown below, means that Vikan is owned by a charitable foundation. The Vissing Foundation has through Vissing Holding A/S the determining influence in the company. The only activity of Vissing Holding A/S is to own Vikan A/S. As far as the management and the board goes there is a merging of personnel in Vikan A/S and Vissing Holding A/S.

The profit from running Vikan A/S therefore considerably goes to the Vissing Foundation, which supports non-profit making organisations in the following areas.
1: Medical research and other medical related areas.
2: Technical research which especially tends hygiene- and environmental issues.
3: Other non-profit making aims.

Every year the Vissing Foundation distributes several million kroner to technical and medical research.
