Diamantis Masoutis S.A is an anthropocentric, entirely Greek owned company, based in Thessaloniki, Greece, that counts 41 years in the retail business. With 271 stores, 249 supermarkets and 22 Cash & Carry outlets, Diamantis Masoutis S.A. covers all the prefectures of Makedonia, Thrace, Thessaly, Epirus, Central Greece as well as the islands of Limnos, Thasos, Lesvos and Chios. More than 6.700 people are employed.
Diamantis Masoutis S.A. stores hosts counters with fresh meat and poultry, cured meat and cold cuts, cheese and fish. On the other hand, the company’s modern Logistic Centre hosts a Meat packing unit and a Fruit-vegetable storage and a fleet of 120 shelf-owned trucks to transport the commodities.

Diamantis Masoutis S.A is seeking ways to continuously improve and document the hygienic cleaning processes in order to maintain the division’s ISO 9001, 14000 and 18000 accredited quality management system and deliver to HACCP requirements.
All of D. Masoutis S.A. stores and the L.C. uses a variety of colour-coded Vikan Brushes to clean different areas of food management. Cured meat and cheese slicers, minced meat machines, schnitzel machines and cutting surfaces are cleaned with specific colour-coded brushes to insure the highest level of hygiene while diminishing the cross-contamination hazards.
Vikan’s squeegees are used effectively for removing the water on our truck floors as part of our hygienic program.
