Vikan Acquires Wells Australia and New Zealand

We are thrilled to announce the acquisition of Wells in Australia and New Zealand, marking an exciting milestone for Vikan. With over 95 years of invaluable industry experience, and 50 years as our exclusive partner, Wells brings an extensive wealth of knowledge about the industry and the local market. “As we enter this new chapter, we look forward to combining our competencies and resources, including strategic investments that will fuel our continued growth” said Vikan Group CEO Carsten Bo Pedersen.

Wells has gained extensive experience in the design and manufacturing of shadow boards and has established a strong position in the retail sector. This knowledge and expertise will play a pivotal role in enhancing Vikan’s products and services in these areas.

Furthermore, the strategic geographic location in Melbourne, will also provide future opportunities to substantially reduce shipping times for our East Pacific customers, especially for urgently needed goods. In October, our first major project is to move Wells Australia to new purpose-built facilities. These new facilities not only accommodate growth but also reflect our commitment to delivering exceptional customer service.

In addition to this exciting acquisition, we are delighted to welcome 23 new employees from Wells into the Vikan family. We have planned a number of activities to foster closer cooperation and encourage productive exchanges among all employees.
