 Module 6.3

Brochure Builder

Find out how to use the Vikan Brochure Builder to help you generate custom-made brochures. You choose which products to include and which sector to be targeted. And you can add your own logo and contact information. All to make the brochures you build relevant to your customers and for your business.

Approximate time: 30 minutes

What is it?

The brochure builder is an online tool that allows you to build your own brochures.

You select the following:

  • The relevant sector
  • The relevant Vikan products
  • Your logo and contact information
  • Your prices and item numbers if relevant
  • Whether you want to use the brochure online or have it printed.

How to use the brochures?

Use the brochures you build in many different ways. Here are a few examples:

  • Have a ready library of brochures with the products you recommend for each industry sector.
  • Use the brochures for training of your distributors or sales people.
  • Use the brochure as a follow up on products discussed at a customer meeting.
  • Let the brochures be a mini price list for relevant products for an industry.
  • For handing out at industry specific trade shows.
  • When you want to provide a little extra industry information, for example when training your distributors.

How to get started

The Product List is your starting point

Select the products you would like included in your brochure and add them to a product list. The brochure can contain up to 21 products.

This is how you do it.

Choosing Content

After having created your product list of 21 products, you click on Build Brochure.

A screen opens in which you type in the name of your brochure so that you can easily find it again.

You also choose the industry your brochure is relevant for. Images and copy in the brochure is relevant for the industry you select.

The Brochure Builder Application

  • Insert the title of your brochure.
  • Insert your own company logo, if relevant.

Page 4

  • The final products. Please note that you will see a gap if you select less than 21 products.
  • At the end of the page you can add your company logo and contact information.
  • There are two columns available for this. Some use the two colums for 1) distributor information and 2) sales person contact information. Others use it for 1) end-customer information and 2) distributor information. If nothing is inserted, the column will be blank.

Via CSV upload

Column 2: Quantity (relevant for use with the Export as List function)

Column 3: Your Item Codes

Column 4: Your Prices

Did You Know?

That you can also use your own item codes and prices in the Export as List function. This downloads as both pdf (as shown) and csv. These can be used as a small, an order entry file or as a quote to your customers.
