Vikan goes green

Vikan, the leading supplier of cleaning products for hygiene critical environments, is striving to lead the way in doing green business too.

Marketing Manager Shane Duff at Vikan explains: "We are embedding sustainability into every decision we take based on an aligned set of environmental and business objectives".

While Vikan continue to work on their full corporate environmental strategy, Marketing Manager Shane Duff explains why they are losing no time in implementing the opportunities that have already come to light: "We now have some early action plans in place for greening our products, our production and even our communications. For example, we have cut polyethylene use by 30% by simply reducing bag weights, and are introducing 100% recycled materials for our carton and box packaging."
